The Fuck-It List

mood: rebellious
I think by now we're all aware of my fascination with the Bucket List(s), well the ladies over at Feministe one upped me and came up with a Fuck-It List. That is, things that you feel positively no need to do before you die.

I feel this is, in a word, brilliant.

  • Piss up a wall
  • Have kids
  • Do things solely to please my parents, family members, or anyone other than myself
  • Buy something because a magazine says it's the best new thing to have

That's all I got so far. I'm sure there will be more.

Believe it or not, that's one that my family would say I've never had a problem with, but that I say I've struggled with all my life.

I've finally gotten to the point where I no longer feel the need to live up to other people's expectations. This does not, however, absolve me from the guilt of not, you know?
